A golden age is not declared in a brochure. It is read in arrivals, receipts, and a stock of homes that either keeps up or does not. For the owner of a villa, a riad or a penthouse, the useful question is simple: is demand from exacting travellers growing faster than the supply of houses that are truly well kept?
The figures, as the ministry publishes them
In 2024, Morocco welcomed 17.4 million tourists, up 20% on 2023. In 2025, the Ministry of Tourism reported 19.8 million arrivals, 14% more than in 2024. Foreign-currency receipts reached 112 billion dirhams in 2024, then 138 billion in 2025, according to the ministry’s key figures.
The 2023–2026 roadmap aimed at 17.5 million tourists and 120 billion dirhams in receipts by 2026. Those thresholds were crossed earlier. The stated ambition for 2030 is to welcome 26 million visitors. That is the horizon the ministry sets at the end of this roadmap.
Broader demand is not automatically easier demand
France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Italy remain solid source markets. A large share of Moroccans living abroad adds to them. That diversity is a strength. It does not excuse you from knowing whom your house is for. A medina riad, a palm-grove villa and a business flat in Casablanca do not catch the same guest, or the same month.
What a golden age asks of the high end
When arrivals rise, ordinary houses fill more easily. Exceptional houses are judged on details the mass market does not forgive: linen, quiet, the temperature of the pool, a reply at 11 p.m., an accurate inventory. Useful scarcity is no longer only the address. It is the execution.
A poorly presented home in a strong market still lets, for a while, below its value. Then the reviews settle in. Taking the standard back costs more than holding it from the first stay.
Hold the house to the level of the cycle
IGIDAR Prime reads this cycle from the house, not from the national average. The complimentary audit places the potential of your address in that context: season, likely guests, the service required. Management is then paid only on collected revenue, seven days a week, throughout Morocco. The 2030 horizon is a backdrop. Next month’s income is decided inside the house.
